The dining room had a lovely atmosphere, yet my room had stained bedding.

Perfect family getaway with some noise issues
Had a nice 2-night stay with the family. The views were gorgeous, and our corner room was spacious! Restaurant food was decent and reasonably priced. But man, we had a wedding party outside, and it was loud. Couldn't sleep well because of the shouting and door slamming. Still, the bar staff were great!

Rooms with access to streaming services, though requiring guest logins. Scenic location near the river, ideal for a calming getaway.
The place feels pretty run-down, with a reception in need of a serious makeover. The entrance ramp’s got a loud cracking sound when you step on it, and the carpet indoors is murky, so don’t expect fresh walks. Some rooms I peeked in had broken windows and musty odors, and a disturbing amount of dust collected on surfaces. On the bright side, it’s not all doom and gloom—just know what you’re getting into.

The room we stayed in had a lovely river view and an unexpectedly cozy atmosphere that made our stay enjoyable. After a day of exploring, we loved relaxing on the sun terrace and by the garden area, soaking up the peaceful vibe. A minor hiccup was the shower pressure, which could use some improvement, but overall, we had a great time! 😊

Scenic views alongside the river add a nice touch, especially if you like a bit of nature. The location offers convenient access to places like Oxford and Henley, making it hassle-free to explore the surrounding areas.
The hotel is looking quite dated with its worn-out carpets and decor in need of a refresh. We faced some inconveniences with the shower, which had inconsistent water pressure, making for a less than ideal experience. A few meals felt limited in options, particularly breakfast, while cleanliness in communal areas was not up to par, with some sections appearing neglected. we encountered some confusion regarding seating arrangements for dinner. it seemed odd that a perfectly good table was off-limits despite being empty.

The room offered plenty of space, and the cleanliness was commendable. The shower provided great water pressure, and the bed was noticeably comfortable.
The wedding reception caused some noise, but it did not disrupt our sleep.
